On Thursday 2 December 2004 staff from the Mallee Health Service Inc., Kangaroo Island Health Service, Commonwealth Department of Health and Aging and Department for Families and Communities came together to further discuss Service Excellence Framework (SEF).

The Mallee Health Service and Kangaroo Island Health Service have, as a collaborative effort, secured Commonwealth funding of almost $200,000 to develop a pilot study over the next 2 years.
