Kadistra is a low care residential facility which is part of Karoonda Homes for the Aged and is situated on the hospital site.

Kadistra is a resident funded minimal care retirement home with eight individual units.

There are minimal staff in attendance for four hours a day, seven days a week. If residents require attention after hours, a call system operates notifying hospital staff of a call.
