Mallee Community Health Services is a department of the Mallee Health Service. It began as a new initiative in the mallee as a result of the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing's Regional Health Service Funding.

Initially the Mallee Community Health Services team consisted of the programs funded through the Regional Health Service. Over time, the team has expanded to include outreach and community based services in the Mallee.
